# Sign in

> How to log in to Capinex Finance for the first time and every time after.

You sign in with your work email. Your account is set up by a Super Admin, so before you start, make sure someone has added you to the team.

## Open the app

    Open Chrome, Safari, or Edge and type **app.capinex.in** in the address bar.

  <Step title="Tap 'Sign in with Google'">
    The app uses your work Google account. There is no separate Capinex password to remember.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick your work email">
    Choose the email your manager used when they invited you. If you pick the wrong one, you'll see "Access Restricted."
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait a few seconds">
    The app loads your role and shows the home screen.

## What if I see "Access Restricted"?

  This means your account exists but a Super Admin has switched off your access. Ask a Super Admin to open **Access Control** and turn the toggle back on for you. See [Access Control](/admin/access-control) for what they need to do.

## What if I see "Verify your email"?

Your account is brand new. Check your inbox for the verification email Capinex sent and click the link inside. Then come back to the app and sign in again.

## Sign out

    In the top-right corner, tap your name or initials.

  <Step title="Choose 'Sign Out'">
    The app logs you out everywhere — your phone, your laptop, and the Credit Reports browser tab if you have one open.

<Note>
  Signing out clears your session on every device you're logged into. Next time you come back, you'll need to sign in again.

## Stay signed in for 24 hours

For security, the app signs you out automatically after 24 hours. You'll see a sign-in screen again — just pick your Google account and you're back in.
